Young dancers from the group of West Coast Crew from a small town called Svit dream of becoming famous and wealthy one day. The most tenacious is Buddy, who is able to sacrifice almost everything to win. In a dance contest, they are noticed by the acclaimed producer and invited to a dance competition casting that would open their doors to the world of show-business. But the way is full of hard obstacles, and their relationships and characters will be subject to the pressure of success.

Andrea Sedláčková (b. 1967, Prague) studied screenwriting at Prague’s Film Academy (FAMU) and then emigrated to France where she studied editing and directing at the FEMIS in Paris. In France, where she lives most of the time, she works as an editor ; her most prestigious credits include Joyeux Noël (2005), nominated for Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award, and Welcome (2008), which was nominated for a César. Among others, she wrote and directed Victims and Murderers, her first feature film, and Fair Play, which was selected as the Czech Republic's 2015 Oscar entry for the Best Foreign Language Film Award and received 15 nominations for the 2015 Czech Lion Awards. She also directed many films and documentaries for Czech Television.
