The world of Federico Fellini, inside of Cinecittà' studios, populated by his incredible characters, told by his collaborators Oscar winners: L. Wertmuller, D. Ferretti, N. Piovani, M. Millenotti and by Ferruccio Castronuovo's backstages emerged from the past for over 40 years, in which Marcello Mastroianni, Giulietta Masina and Anthony Quinn interact with Maestro on stage.




Enter the world of Federico Fellini. The world behind his camera on the sets and backstages of his films captured by another hidden camera and brought to the light after 40 years belonged to Ferruccio Castronuovo. Between 1976 and 1986, Ferruccio made films showing the backstage activity of the films of Federico Fellini: ‘The City of Women’, ‘And the Ship Sails On’ and ‘Ginger and Fred’ unveiling a world apart, a city of the imagination, populated by unique characters, which has a life of its own, a ‘Fellinopolis’.

Silvia Giulietti, director and producer, was one of the first women to occupy the roles of camera assistant, camera operator and director of photography in the Italian industry. Silvia spent her adolescence on the sets and stages of Cinecittà in the early eighties heyday of the studio, volunteering for Gaumont Italia on the production movies. She learned her trade from a master cinematographer of Italian neo-realism, Armando Nannuzzi, director of photography for Visconti, Pasolini, De Sica, Leone and Cavani. She was an innovator in the use HD technology and more recently has directed and produced award winning documentaries. She loves direct documentary about cinema.
Since 2004 she produces and directs documentaries, commercial, and develops international movie projects with her own independent production iFrame srl.
