Cristina and Tudor Ionescu have built a happy family with their two children. Maria (5 and a half) and Ilie (7). He works for a phone company and she's an accountant. They're in their thirties and live in a nice apartment in a Romanian town. They live the life of an ordinary couple with young children. One Sunday morning, when Tudor takes the kids to the park, Maria disappears. Their lives abruptly change forever.

CONSTANTIN POPESCU is a Romanian film director, writer and screenwriter, whose work includes short features (The Apartment, A Lineman’s Cabin, Water, The Yellow Smiley Face) and features (Tales from the Golden Age, Portrait of the Fighter as a Young Man, Principles of Life), films with which he participated in competitions in major film festivals all around the world like Cannes, Berlin and San Sebastian. He won numerous prizes with his short features and his features, in Romania and in festivals around Europe (Venice, Bratislava, Namur, Montpellier, Belgrade, Balchik, Trieste). He also directed TV series for the main Romanian Broadcaster, ProTV (Las Fierbinti, 2011) as well as for HBO Romania (In Treatement, 2012 ; Shall We Kiss?, 2013).
