Life drifts by for gay corporate lawyer Marius, his time spent teasing friends and chasing young lovers. One day, Marius' estranged father dies. Mourning turns to love as the lawyer finds an unanticipated connection with a sex-cam worker Ali - a Syrian refugee stuck in Belgrade.

Romas Zabarauskas' films Porno Melodrama (30 min.), We Will Riot (79 min.) and You Can’t Escape Lithuania (80 min.) tackle the subjects of queer love, resurgent nationalism and politics. The films premiered at the Berlinale in 2011, Moscow FF in 2013 and Bushwick FF in 2016 respectively, and have been showing around the world ever since. A unique cinematic voice from the Baltics, Romas is equally known in his home country as an openly gay, outspoken LGBT+ rights advocate.
